We didn't launch ScanStay because we spotted a market opportunity. We launched it because we were fed up.
THE ORIGIN
How ScanStay was born
Cédric runs two country houses in Normandy. Sylvain runs a house in southwest France. We met in a host community in 2023, and had the same conversation everyone has: how many tools are you using to manage your properties?
The honest answer: too many. Airbnb for bookings, one tool for the guidebook, another for stats, another for messages. It's expensive, it doesn't sync well, and you end up spending more time in dashboards than in your properties.
We decided to do something about it. Not raise money, not "disrupt the short-term rental market". Just: a tool we use ourselves, that does what we need, with nothing extra.

One price per property, not per feature
€9.99/month per property. All-inclusive. We hate à la carte pricing that punishes growth.
We use what we build
Cédric uses ScanStay for his properties in Normandy. Sylvain for his house in southwest France. Every feature we ship, we've tested ourselves.
Simple by default
Simplicity isn't a lack of ambition. It's the result of hard work. We'd rather have 3 features that work perfectly than 30 that work halfway.
